PNC To Roll Out New HNW Account Tracker

PNC Financial Services Group will next week roll out its new Wealth Insight product, a tool for high net worth customers to track all their investments, whether or not they are managed by PNC.
The tool is currently being piloted by around 10,000 customers, each with at least $1 million in assets with the bank, and the feedback so far has been very positive, a spokesperson confirmed. Around 4,000 customers on the pilot program have been accessing their accounts daily.
The official release of the product is next week, but the firm’s chief executive James Rohr referred to it at a recent conference, calling it a “game changer,” according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Meanwhile, PNC is in the process of taking over Royal Bank of Canada’s retail US operations for around $3.62 billion. The firm also acquired National City Corp for around $3.9 billion in 2009, in another expansion of its retail division.
