Oregon-Based Wealth Manager Joins Steward
Steward, launched 10 years ago, has grown rapidly, adding a cluster of firms.
Oregon-based Oswego Crest Financial Group has joined up with Steward Partners Global Advisory.
Oswego is based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and was formerly affiliated with Commonwealth Financial. The four-person team is made up of partners and wealth managers Patricia Sturr, Peter Miller, and Tom Daniels, as well as partner, client administrative manager Peggy Maxwell. Collectively the team manages about $230 million in client assets.
The firm uses Raymond James as its custodian.
Steward, established in 2013, is responsible for about $30 billion in client assets as of April 2023. In late July Steward added Vantage Point Private Wealth, a business led by wealth managers Mark Morasky; Erik Clay, and Chris Figaro. The team oversees about $450 million in client assets has offices in Walnut Creek, California and Madison, Wisconsin. Earlier in July, it appointed long-serving Merrill Lynch figure Paul Sullivan as partner and managing director, head of internal sourcing. This was a newly-created role.
