Ohio-Based Bank Hires Head Of Its Private Banking Arm

She has joined the firm from CIBC US, where she was president of private wealth.
Fifth Third Bancorp has appointed Kristine Garrett as senior vice president and head of Fifth Third Private Bank
Garrett reports to Mike Michael, executive vice president and head of wealth and asset management.
Prior to joining Fifth Third, Garrett most recently served as president of private wealth at CIBC US. In this position, she had direct responsibility for private banking, investment management, trust and brokerage across the personal advisory and corporate client segments. She also held national and regional leadership roles at JP Morgan, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
“Kristine’s background and expertise in the industry make her the perfect fit for this key role in our organization,” said Michael. “She also understands the importance of providing value and personalized service for our clients, which aligns with our vision to be the One Bank people most value and trust.”
