Offshore Law Firm Becomes Carey Olsen In BVI
South Africa-headquartered Hempel and Boyd
has rebranded as
Carey Olsen in
the British Virgin Islands,
after the two offshore law-firms partnered in January.
Carey Olsen chairman, John Kelleher, said the move to bring
Hempel and Boyd into the Carey Olsen brand was a natural
progression.
“Hempel and Boyd has presented a strong growth story in the
BVI market since its inception in February 2012. Indeed in the
same year,
Hempel and Boyd became the first offshore law firm to open an
office in Cape Town. We welcome
this next step of embedding the association between our firms,”
Kelleher added.
In addition to the British Virgin Islands, Carey Olsen has
legal advice offices in the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey,
as well as in Cape Town and London.
