Northwestern broker picks Gentech's tech platform

Wyoming-based Kaiser and Company signs up for Gentech's Nexus application. Cheyenne, Wyo.-based independent broker-dealer Kaiser and Company has selected Gentech's Nexus technology platform, a web-based application that automates things like account opening, compliance and reporting -- and lets advisors use data in multiple formats and applications.

Every effort

"The Nexus design provides for a very rich application that delivers more features and useful functionality than many people thought possible," says Gentech senior v.p. Dean Rager. "That makes it a great fit for multi-faceted firms like Kaiser and Company."
Kaiser and Company, which has been in business for more than 30 years, sells securities, insurance and investment products to a client base concentrated in the U.S. Northwest, according to its president and CEO Todd Bishop.

"We make every effort to provide our investment professionals with the most efficient and effective support available," adds Bishop. "We think the Gentech Nexus technology is the superior application for our representatives to run business the way they want to run their business."

Gentech is a subsidiary of Centennial, Colo.-based broker-dealer Geneos Wealth Management. At the end of 2008, Geneos had 260 advisors and $7 billion in assets under management. -FWR
