Northwest Wealth Firm Names New Chief Executive
Founded in 2001, the firm oversees more than $2.5 billion in client assets.
Vista Capital Partners, based in Portland, Oregon, has appointed Dougal Williams as its new chief executive, taking the slot vacated by Doug Johanson, who now serves as chairman of the board of directors.
Williams has served in various roles with Vista since 2004, most recently as chief wealth officer and lead advisor. He has worked for more than 20 years advising individual, corporate, and non-profit clients. In addition to his role as CEO, Williams will continue to lead the firm’s wealth committee.
Williams holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a graduate of the University of Oregon, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree with honors in economics and spanish. He is a past president of the CFA Society Portland, and a former board member of Urban Gleaners and The Deschutes Land Trust.
Company co-founders Doug Johanson and Michael O’Reilly remain involved in the business which is entirely owned by its staff, comprising 11 owner-partners.
