Northern Trust Adds Senior Private Banker In Santa Barbara

New York-listed Northern Trust has appointed Linda Cheresh as a senior private banker within its Santa Barbara, CA, office.

Cheresh is responsible for managing client relationships as well as providing credit, deposit, investment and fiduciary services to wealthy individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. She has over 20 years of industry experience in the Santa Barbara area.

Most recently, Cheresh served as a vice president of US Bank’s Private Client Reserve. There, she also worked with lenders and private bankers to develop and deliver credit solutions.

In other recent moves, the Chicago-based firm appointed Naples, FL-based Steven Arbogast as senior lending officer for the Lee and Collier regions - a role he previously held for the firm’s Fort Lauderdale clientele.

Northern Trust has $175.9 billion in assets under management, as at June 30. The firm has over 70 offices across the US and abroad.
