The wealth group, which works with organizations including family offices, was created in 2023.

Northern Trust Asset Management, has appointed Suzanne Casey as co-head of its newly-formed wealth client group.

Casey brings 30 years of sales and leadership experience to this job and will co-lead the group with Sunitha C Thomas. Both report to NTAM president Daniel Gamba.

Northern Trust, the Chicago-headquartered group, manages more than $350 billion for private wealth clients across individual securities, separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds. The asset management business's wealth group was created last year.

NTAM announced a number of leadership changes last year. 

In October 2023, Northern Trust reported a 17 per cent year-on-year drop in net income for the third quarter of 2023, reaching $327.8 million. Total revenues fell 2 per cent to $1.739 billion.
