The Texas-based trust and wealth management company has made a change to its board.

North Dallas Bank & Trust has elected Thomas Koons to its board of directors.

Koons began his career in real estate investment, brokerage and management in 1981, before moving into technology sales in 1988. In 1998, Koons had set up his own firm, the Tom Koons Company, which supports sales activities of US manufacturers focusing on international sales, particularly in the European Common Market.

North Dallas Bank & Trust, which was established in 1961, now has five banking centers in the Dallas, TX area. As of the end of June, it managed assets of $1.3 billion.

The company’s offering includes investment management, trust and fiduciary, retirement services, and financial planning.
