North Carolina Private Equity Firm Buys Into Wealth Management

The founders of Solamere Capital have invested in
Solamere Advisors, a newly-formed wealth management firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

An investment advisor that is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Solamere Advisors was started by 11 financial services professionals with ties to the Carolinas. It offers asset management services and all aspects of family wealth management, including generational wealth planning, investment, fiduciary, trust and risk management.

Leila Evans, a partner at Solamere Advisors, said: “We will differentiate ourselves from other wealth management companies by combining a progressive asset allocation strategy, total flexibility in selecting third-party financial products and unparalleled customer service tailored to wealthy families and small institutions in the Southeast.”

Capital Guardian will serve as introducing broker/dealer for client transactions and Pershing, a subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon, will act as clearing broker/dealer and custodian of client assets.
