New York Investment Manager Appoints Board Member

NYSE-listed
Artio Global Investors has appointed investment industry
expert Christopher Wright to its board of directors. He joins the
audit, compensation, nominating and corporate governance
committees.
Wright is chairman of Emerging Markets Alternatives, a director of Merifin Capital Group, and an advisor to Campbell Lutyens & Co and Hansa Capital LBG.
Until mid-2003 he was head of global private equity for Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and was a group board member of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, overseeing alternative assets in developed and emerging markets.
“We look forward to working with him as we continue growing our highly rated fixed income strategies and reestablishing the competitiveness of our equity strategies,” said Tony Williams, chief executive and director of AGI.
