New York Broker-Dealer Boosts Wealth Management Business

New York-based IDB Capital, the broker-dealer subsidiary of IDB Bank, has linked up with KB Financial Partners to provide insurance services, wealth transfer solutions, executive benefit plans and retirement plan consulting.

New York-based IDB Capital, the broker-dealer subsidiary of IDB Bank, has linked up with KB Financial Partners to provide insurance services, wealth transfer solutions, executive benefit plans and retirement plan consulting.

“This culminates a long process of building our wealth management services and the team to lead this effort,” said Matt Rozzi, president of IDB Capital.

For example, Bernard Wasserman was hired late last year to head up wealth management sales, having previously held business development roles at Citigroup, HSBC, Lehman and BNP.

The IDB Capital relationship with KB Financial Partners brings over 30 years of experience and capabilities in the areas of life insurance planning, wealth transfer and succession planning, executive benefits and qualified retirement plans to IDB’s client base of ultra high net worth families and medium-sized corporations.
