New York-based Signature Bank has appointed a new private client banking team based in Melville, Long Island, New York.
The new team is headed by Fred Forgione, who becomes group
director and senior vice president.
Mr Forgione was recently senior vice president and team leader
for private banking in Long Island at Sovereign Bank and its
predecessor, Independence Community Bank, a role he held for five
years.
Joining Mr Forgione is Peter Raymond, associate group director, and Pin Lee, senior client associate. Both Mr Raymond and Mr Lee have worked directly with Mr Forgione for the past five years.
The appointment of Mr Forgione’s team brings the number of private client banking teams based in Melville, which opened in May of 2004, to three.
