New Wealth M&A Group Buys Ohio Firm

Bluespring Wealth Partners was formed a few weeks ago to carry out M&A deals.

Bluespring Wealth Partners, the new business formed in July by Kestra Financial to buy RIAs and other wealth managers, has acquired Hickory Asset Management, a firm based in Concord, Ohio.

Hickory offers financial planning and portfolio management services to individuals, corporate executives, and business owners. It was founded in 2008 and is led by Daniel G LeScoezec, CHFC®, president.

“Establishing an effective succession plan is paramount to our business and the most important step in building our legacy as a firm,” LeScoezec said.

As part of its own M&A story, Kestra is now majority-owned by private equity house Warburg Pincus.
