Offshore law firm Appleby has promoted Vanessa Schrum to be Bermuda local practice group head for the private client and trusts practice group, the Royal Gazette reports.

Schrum, a trust practitioner in the Bermuda office, has been with Appleby for 13 years and has extensive experience advising on a wide range of trust and estate planning matters.

These matters include Bermuda private and commercial trust structures, the administration of complex and large estates, and probate and equity matters in Bermuda, including applications to the Supreme Court of Bermuda.
