Sterling Financial Services, a New Hampshire-based SEC-registered investment advisory firm, has affiliated with Peak Advisor Alliance, which offers advisor training and practice management.

The partnership will see Sterling take part in semi-annual workshops and monthly educational conference calls, as well as receiving consulting support.

Sterling has also adjusted its executive line-up, promoting Lisa Thomas to the role of vice president of operations and associate wealth advisor. Thomas has also been made a 20 per cent equity partner.

In other changes, Kateri MacGilvra has been appointed operations associate and director of first impressions, and Cassandra Cressy is now a marketing associate, in charge of client events.
