New Global Head Of Investments At Citi Private Bank

A new head of investments at Citi Private Bank takes the helm.
Citi Private Bank has appointed one of its own senior figures, David Bailin, to be global head of investments, with immediate effect.
He is replacing Eduardo A Campos Martinez, who is now global head of retail, markets & securities, Citi.
Bailin will oversee the private bank’s investment business worldwide. This includes its investment management and capital markets activities, including the formulation of investment strategy, advice, solutions and execution across all asset classes for all clients private clients globally. He continues to be based out of New York.
Previously, Bailin served as global head of managed investments for Citi Private Bank and the firm said he was the architect of the global managed investments platform, including its Citi Investment Management unit and the bank’s private equity, real estate, hedge fund and traditional investment teams.
Prior to joining Citi, Bailin was MD and head of alternative investment asset management for Bank of America Global Wealth and Investment Management, where he was responsible for client alternative investments across private equity, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds.
The private bank has around $390 billion in client assets under management.
