Oregon-headquartered Aequitas Capital Partners and New Jersey-based Circle Squared Alternative Investments have pledged their determination to educate registered investment advisors on the role of alternative assets with the joint-launch of the ACP Alts Academy.
The first webinar will take place today, hosted by Circle Squared’s chief investment officer and founder, Jeff Sica. This will cover the firm’s outlook for alternative investments for the year ahead, as well as ideas on the modern portfolio theory, asset allocation issues and the endowment model.
The overarching aim of the ACP Alts Academy is to provide training and education to the RIA and advisor community on alternative investments, strategies and solutions to meet the demands of high net worth investors, Aequitas said in a statement.
Advisors will have access to features such as webinars, video messaging, roundtable panel discussions, podcasts and face-to-face training, as well as introductions to Circle Squared’s network of industry leaders.
Circle Squared, an outsourced CIO firm specializing in alternative investments, also recently launched the CSQ Institute to train advisors on types of alternative investments and performing diligence on them.
Aequitas Capital Partners, the wealth management platform of Aequitas Capital, is a member network offering RIAs intellectual, financial and human capital as well as access to investment platforms and partnerships with leading financial services firms.
