Natixis Global Asset Management Opens New US Headquarters

The firm has been growing its operations in the US over the past few years.

Natixis Global Asset Management has opened its new US headquarters at 888 Boylston Street in Boston. Natixis will occupy six floors of the 17-story, 425,000-square-foot structure at 888 Boylston, which was reportedly designed to be Boston’s most sustainable office building.

Nearly 450 of the firm’s 1,500 Boston-area staff will operate from the new offices, including executives from Natixis’ global investment management affiliates Mirova, Seeyond and Gateway, the firm said in a statement.

“Natixis has built one of the world’s leading asset management firms here in Boston, which illustrates our city’s strong position as a global financial capital and a hub for innovative new businesses," said David Giunta, chief executive of Natixis Global Asset Management for the US and Canada. "Our stunning new Boston headquarters are symbolic of Natixis’ strong global momentum and our position as one of the world’s leading active investment managers. The incredible talent of our Boston-based team has been instrumental to our global growth, so we are proud to continue building on our strong foundation in this community.”

The firm has continued to grow its local footprint in Boston, expanding by nearly 500 to 1,500 employees in the area, including several investment management affiliates such as Loomis Sayles and Company and AEW Capital Management in Boston, AlphaSimplex Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Natixis Asset Management US, which includes investment managers Mirova and Seeyond.
