Wall Street powerhouse picks veteran institutional sales, research staffer. Morgan Stanley has made Jack Mueller retail-brokerage manager of its Rocky Mountain district. An employee of Morgan Stanley since 1989, Mueller was most recently managing director and head of North American equity research. He has also been an institutional sales manager, head of institutional product marketing, and director of research for European equities with Morgan Stanley. Earlier in his career he worked for Smith Barney.

"We are pleased that such an experienced and proven leader is joining our division," says Miller. "The appointment of an 18-year Morgan Stanley veteran leader from our institutional franchise underscores our commitment to attract top talent from both inside and outside Morgan Stanley as we move to capitalize on the many growth opportunities we see in wealth management."
