Morgan Stanley Launches Another Office For Wealthy LatAm Clients

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is intensifying its focus on the needs of clients living in Latin America.
Morgan Stanley has opened a third wealth management office in Miami, FL, dedicated to serving clients in Latin America.
The new branch oversees nearly $7 billion in assets under management and is staffed by 13 teams of international client advisors, most of whom joined Morgan Stanley from Credit Suisse, which formerly occupied the site. The office employs 61 people in total, including 22 client advisors.
The office reports to Miami complex manager Kevin McCarty and is supervised by branch manager Cristian Gonzalez Lami, who has over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry - most recently at Credit Suisse, where he headed the Miami private banking office. He began his career at Citi and worked in his home country of Argentina for Deutsche Bank.
“Our international client advisors specialize in serving this market, which presents a significant opportunity for growth,” said James Jesse, head of international wealth management. “We look forward to further expansion in this office as well as the introduction of significant new resources to meet the needs of our non-resident clients.”
