Mirae Asset Global Investments has hired Robert Mulligan as senior vice president, strategic relationship manager, for the US.

Also stepping in as emerging market specialists to the national sales team are Matthew Brancato, Peter Corritori, and Jennifer Fuentes. The three will distribute the Mirae Asset Discovery Funds, which were launched in September with a lineup that consists of six emerging market equity strategies.

Mirae Asset Global Investments specializes in emerging market equities and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The firm presently has over $50 billion in assets under management, of which $30 billion are involved with emerging market equities.
