The Commerce Trust Co has recruited David Krauss, formerly of
The Stolar Partnership in St Louis,
to run the bank's wealth management services for ultra high-net worth
individuals and families.

Krauss currently is a partner at The Stolar Partnership and heads
the law firm's Stolar Family Office business unit. He will join Commerce in
December as managing director of The Commerce Family Office in Clayton, which
focuses on wealth management services for people with $25 million or more in
assets. Krauss also has been named a senior vice president of The Commerce
Trust Co, a division of Kansas City-based
Commerce Bank.

Three other Stolar Family Office employees, Patti Ellis,
Debra Hoff and Kathleen Schuckmann, will also join Commerce Family Office's
financial services staff providing accounting and tax planning services. 

Commerce Trust Co is a division of Commerce Bank, which in
turn is a subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares and one of the largest financial
institutions in the Midwest.
