TotalBank, which is a member of Grupo Banco Popular Español, said it is looking to bolster its private banking business.

TotalBank, which is based in south Florida, has taken on a new private banker, Alexandra Ruiz, and sales director, Ana Contreras-Ludvigsen.

Ruiz, also a vice president, joins from City National Bank – Bci Financial Group, where she was an assistant vice president and personal and small business banker.

Contreras-Ludvigsen, also a vice president, will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the firm's downtown banking center.

Headquartered in Miami, TotalBank provides domestic and international financial services to corporations, small businesses and individual clients.
