Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Makes Flurry Of Hires

The wealth manager has boosted its ultra-high net worth client-facing team with 20 new faces.
Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has bulked up its advisory team with 20 appointments across the US.
Over the past week, 20 advisors, including 12 private wealth advisors, with over $1.8 billion in assets under management, have joined the firm’s Private Banking & Investment Group, which serves ultra high net worth clients.
California
In California, Christopher Beckett and Stephen Yovetich joined the Century City South, CA, team from UBS Financial Services as financial advisors. They will report to market executive David Hunt.
Also joining from UBS Financial Services as financial advisors are Jerad Chao and Michael Margiotta in Santa Monica. They will report to market executive Nathan Crair.
Thomas Jackson joined the Century City Private Banking & Investment Group office from Barclays Capital. As private wealth advisor, he will report to regional managing director Michael Rogers.
DC/Virginia
Michael Bono, Kenneth Kline, Andrew Pritsios and William Scott joined the Northeast Region PBIG team from Barclays Capital as private wealth advisors. Based in Washington DC and Reston, VA, they will report to regional managing director Greg McGauley and market executives Jeff Wood and Peter Ambrose.
Michelle Motsko and Michael Brodnik also joined as a private wealth advisory team in the Northeast Region of PBIG in Washington DC from Barclays Capital. They will report to McGauley and Wood.
Massachusetts
Derek Mohamed and Justin Merola joined the Wellesley, MA, office from UBS as private wealth advisor and financial advisor respectively.
Joining the PBIG team from Barclays are Patrick Delahunty, Timothy King, and Brian Kelly as private wealth advisors. They will report to McGauley.
New York
Here, JP Morgan Chase's Nicholas Berno joined the Rochester, NY, office as a financial advisor. He will report to market executive Jeffrey Adams.
Pennsylvania
Barclays duo Rosalie Hunter and Bill McCormack joined PBIG as private wealth advisors. They will report to McGauley and market executive Lindsay DeNardo.
Wisconsin
Lastly, James Lemon joined the Madison, WI, office from Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor. He will report to market executive Christopher Eaton.
As of the end of March, Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, which is part of Bank of America Corporation, had 14,183 financial advisors and over $2 trillion in client balances.
