Merrill Lynch Hires $850 Million Advisor From Morgan Stanley

The US-headquartered firm has brought over a Morgan Stanley heavyweight to join one of its offices in New York.

Merrill Lynch has appointed Adam Schur, formerly of Morgan Stanley, as a financial advisor within its White Plains, New York office.

During his last year at Morgan Stanley, Schur had $850 million in assets under management and a production value of $2 million. In total, he has spent nine years with the Wall Street giant. 

“Merrill Lynch is pleased to have this experienced advisor join our firm,” Westchester-Greenwich market executive and managing director Matthew Grossman said in a statement, adding: “Adam joined Merrill Lynch to take advantage of our technology, trust offerings, lending solutions and ability to provide a holistic range of services to make clients’ lives better.”

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management provides wealth management and investment services for individuals and businesses globally, and has $2.1 trillion in client balances as of December 31, 2016.
