Mercer Names Former Aon Hewitt Exec To Lead Sales Team For IMETA, Asia

Global consulting firm Mercer strengthens its Asia, IMETA businesses with the hire of 16-year industry veteran Kulshaan Singh.

Mercer, the global consulting firm, has named a head of sales for its businesses in Asia, India, Middle East, Turkey and Africa, according to a statement. 

Effective immediately, Kulshaan Singh takes the lead sales role in Asia and IMETA to partner with the company's Growth Markets Region Leadership team drive sales and achieve growth in the regions. Singh brings 16 years of industry experience to his new post and joins from Aon Hewitt, where he held a number of senior leadership capacities during his 13 years with the firm. He specialises in the fields of organisation, strategic human resource and talent.

He reports to Michelle Bottomley, chief sales and marketing officer, and Gaurav Garg, regional president for growth markets.

Mercer has over 20,000 employees in 43 countries, but its operations span more than 140. The company has been actively expanding its talent base in Asia as it seeks to capture a wider share of the fast-rising region. Early in the year, the firm named Xu Sun as Greater China talent business leader and Adeline Tan as investment advisory head of the Hong Kong office.
