The Englewood, NJ-based firm has made another hire in the shape of Edward Slezak.

MarketCounsel, the RIA-focused business and regulatory compliance consultancy, has hired Edward Slezak as managing director and general counsel, stepping in to lead the firm’s operations. 

Slezak has served on and counseled numerous boards of directors and executive management teams for companies in an array of sectors such as high-tech gaming, wholesale and retail food services, and e-commerce.

In his new role at MarketCounsel, Slezak is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm as well as its affiliates.  

Meanwhile, chief operating officer Marc Cohen has been named as a managing director to focus on strategy, innovation and development.
