New Office
Lion Street Expands Headquarters

The Texas-based financial services firm is expanding its office space for the third time in five years.
Lion Street is expanding its headquarters in downtown Austin, Texas, taking over an entire floor in the Bank of America building.
The larger space will allow Lion Street to accommodate a growing workforce and better service more owner-firms – independent firms that provide life insurance, business insurance, and wealth management solutions.
The firm, which was founded in 2010, currently comprises 125 owner-firms across 40 US states. This year so far, Lion Street has seen the addition of “a significant group” of new owner-firms as well as new hires in every department, it said, adding that growth has been especially notable in its broker-dealer arm, Lion Street Financial.
“What started as a handful of like-minded independent financial Advisors has grown to be the national network of life-centric Advisors fiercely valuing independence, ownership, and influence,” said Bob Carter, Lion Street’s founder and chief executive.
Lion Street offers financial advisors and life insurance providers access to financial products, intellectual capital, and other resources they need to service high net worth and corporate clients.
