Lincoln Financial Network extends use of Albridge

Lincoln's distribution business takes Albridge tech beyond
Jefferson Pilot. Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) is extending its
use of Albridge's OmniSource portfolio accounting and performance
reporting technologies to include all of Lincoln Financial
Network (LFN), its retail distribution unit. Until now only
brokers at LFN member Jefferson Pilot Securities had access to
OmniSource.
"Our relationship with Albridge Solutions has been extremely
beneficial to [Jefferson Pilot's] advisors and their clients, and
we're very pleased to provide this solution to all Lincoln
Financial Network advisors so they too can experience increased
sales, streamlined administration and improved processes," says
LFN's business solutions head Carol Hardiman.
Trusted advisor
OmniSource lets financial planners and advisors view consolidated
client data, and call up reports on performance, holdings, asset
allocation, transactions and benchmarking.
Albridge executive v.p. Jake Rohn says firms that arm their
advisors with tools like OmniSource "are clearly well ahead of
the curve in meeting the needs of their clients and establishing
a relationship as their one trusted advisor."
Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Albridge provides enterprise
wealth-management services to more than 90,000 financial advisors
at 150 financial institutions.
LFN offers a variety of different affiliation models to
independent brokers and financial planners.
Philadelphia-based Lincoln Financial Group provides insurance,
annuities and investment products in addition to
financial-planning and advisory services. Its parent company
Lincoln National also owns three television stations, 17 radio
stations and a sports production and syndication business.
Lincoln National agreed to buy Jefferson Pilot in 2005. It
completed the transaction early in 2006. -FWR
