LPL Snaps Up Another Client

LPL Financial embraces another wealth manager onto its platform.

Infinity Partners, a wealth management house, has moved to the broker-dealer and RIA platform of LPL Financial, having previously worked with Cetera.

Based in Richmond, Virginia, Infinity Financial Partners was founded in 2000 by Ronnie Poindexter and Phillip Heesen Jr. Other financial advisors aligned with Infinity include Alex Robinson, Robert Kellis Jr, Dustin Newton, Robert Wheatley, Tyler Dove and Ben Dychala.

The move came after the news a few days ago that LPL has added Seattle First Asset Management onto its platforms; the latter firm serves about $800 million of client brokerage and advisory assets as of October 26, 2018. Previously, Seattle First Asset Management was with Signator Investors.

In early October, this publication reported that LPL has built up its Independent Advisor Institute, a program that pairs up newbie and experienced advisors to accelerate career development.
