LPL Financial's Business Empire Continues To Grow

LPL Financial has welcomed a retirement plan and investments provider to its broker/dealer platform.
US-based retail investment advisory firm and broker/dealer LPL Financial, a wholly owned subsidiary of LPL Financial Holdings, has welcomed Cleveland-based firm Black Box Pension Advocates to its BD platform.
Black Box Pension Advocates reported that, based on prior business, it served about $471 million of client brokerage and advisory assets, as of April 3 this year. It creates retirement plans for employers and individuals.
Among other recent developments, LPL brought Pennsylvania-based CFG to its platform, and CFG has also aligned with Independent Advisor Alliance, a firm using LPL’s hybrid registered investment platform. At the same time, ECHELON Partners, the Los Angeles-headquartered investment bank that focuses on wealth and investment management, was chosen by LPL Financial, the broker/dealer, to take part in the latter’s “vendor affinity program”, offering advisors services to help run their firms.
As at April 30, LPL Financial LLC served around $535 billion in brokerage and advisory assets.
