Klimas leaves KeyCorp to lead Ohio private school

Bank's former head of wealth management switches focus to child
education. Carol Klimas has left KeyCorp, where she was headed
the bank's wealth-management business, to become president of
Lake Ridge Academy, a Cleveland-based private school.
Marshalling resources
"In this day and age of financial challenges for schools of all
types, the senior leader of an independent school must possess
the abilities of a chief executive officer," says Lee Howley,
chairman of Lake Ridge's board of directors. "Carol brings
outstanding credentials in terms of leadership, organizational
skills and financial acumen to this position. Most important, the
board was impressed with her passion for children and the quality
of their education."
Klimas joined Cleveland-based KeyCorp in 1992.
Lake Ridge "has built an academic program second to none among
private school institutions," says Klimas. "One of my most
important responsibilities as president of Lake Ridge will be to
effectively marshal the resources to take the school to the next
level of achievement in every respect."
