KBI Boosts North American Leadership Team

The investment house that was recently acquired by Amundi has added to its top team in the US.

Dublin-based KBI Global Investors has appointed William Lynch as senior vice president of its North American business development team.

Previously, Lynch held the position of partner and head of marketing and client service at New York-headquartered investment management firm New Amsterdam Partners, with earlier spells spent at Avatar Associates and Prudential Securities.

In his new role, Lynch will be based in Boston, Massachusetts, where the company opened an office earlier this year to better service its North American client base across both East and West Coasts, as well as Canada.

He will be primarily responsible for serving existing clients and developing new client relationships in a region where the firm says it is significantly expanding.

“[Lynch’s] appointment means that we now have three business development managers based at our Boston place offices, underlining our long-term commitment to the North American market, our growth to date and our expectations for the future,” said Geoff Blake, head of business development and client services at KBI Global Investors.

KBI Global Investors was formerly known as Kleinwort Benson Investors before rebranding as a result of its acquisition by Amundi Asset Management. KBI has offices in Boston and New York as well as Ireland.
