Previously, Sargent was associated with Merrill Lynch for nearly 20 years and joins Janney with $250 million in client assets, the firm said.

Sargent, who will be based in the firm’s Newtown/Yardley, PA office, will also be joined by Christine Lindsay, senior private client assistant.

In November, the firm added Jim Dornan as senior vice president and regional manager of the 30 offices the firm's realigned Western and Southern regional network, and named Ray DiGaetano as director of branch business development.
