Janney Montgomery Scott, the Philadelphia, PA-headquartered wealth management and investment banking firm, has appointed Peter Price as senior vice president/complex manager of the firm’s Maine and New Hampshire complex.

Price, with nearly 30 years of financial services experience, began his career in 1984 as a managing director at Livada Securities. After leaving Livada Securities, he joined Advest and was latterly at RBC Wealth Management. 

In his new role, Price is tasked with leading the firm’s presence in Maine and New Hampshire. He will report to regional manager Chris Wilkinson and will work out of the firm’s Boston, MA, office.

In other recent hires at the firm, earlier in the month Janney added former Morgan Stanley senior manager Vincent Crognale to its Greenville, DL, branch office as first vice president/wealth management.
