JP Morgan Hires Former Goldman Sachs PWM Head As Executive Director In NYC

JP Morgan
has hired Jasmine Abouzied, latterly of Goldman Sachs Group, as
an
executive director and private banker at its New York office,
expanding
its team there.
Abouzied, who was at the private wealth management division
of
Goldman Sachs since 1998, will work with ultra high net worth
clients of
JP Morgan. She will be responsible for delivering the firm’s
investing,
wealth transfer, credit and philanthropic services to these
clients in
the New York area.
She will report to Mary Casey, managing director on the northeast private bank team.
Hiring and staff turnover rates have picked up in the
US financial services industry, a new survey from Crowe
Horwath shows. Employee turnover
has returned to pre-recession levels, bucking a
downwards trend that has
lasted four years, and employees feel more confident now to go
in
search of new opportunities, the firm says.
