Investor Abandons Lawsuit In Singapore Against UBS

An investor who sued UBS to claim back more than $8 million
over an alleged mismanagement of his investment portfolio after the collapse of
Lehman Brothers five years ago has withdrawn his suit after three days of
trial in Singapore, the Business Times (of Singapore)
reported.

Breezeway Overseas and its director Vasanmal Murli applied
to discontinue their claims alleging misrepresentations by the Swiss bank over
loans they had taken to buy various emerging market bonds in 2008, the
publication said.

The plaintiffs said UBS had agreed that Breezeway need not
provide collateral for the loans and that the loans would not be recalled at
any time.
