Investment Manager Names VP For Business Development

Aurion Capital Management, the Canadian investment manager, has appointed David Doritty as vice president for business development. 

Doritty brings over 30 years of investment industry experience to the role and most recently served as vice chairman at Dundee Capital Markets. Before that, he was an equity sales specialist for the institutional unit of National Bank of Canada. At Aurion, he will be responsible for sales, marketing and client service for the private client business.

Aurion capital is 60 per cent owned by DundeeWealth, the wealth management subsidiary of Scotiabank. It has $5.6 billion in assets under management and $3.4 billion in assets under administration.
