Into The Hammock: A Summer Vacation Reading List From UHNW Institute

There's plenty of summer reading and mental fuel from a book list compiled by the UHNW Institute.

As the summer vacation season comes closer and wealth advisors think about how to spend time away from the cares of work – as they should – there’s a time-honored way to recharge the mental batteries: A good book. Whether fiction or non-fiction (the editor of this news service tends toward fiction and has packed several Neal Stephenson novels into his luggage), it is good to get into an engrossing book.

The UHNW Institute has put together an excellent reading list. As one would expect from an organization that is designed for advisors, there are a few books aimed at ideas connected to work and enterprise. But that’s far from the whole picture.

Titles include The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny, by Kiran Desai, Unreasonable Hospitality, by Will Guidara, The 60-Year Curriculum: New Models For Lifelong Learning In the Digital Economy, edited by Christopher J Dede and John Richards; Same as Ever, Morgan Housel; Your Brain On Art, Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross.
