International Professional Services Firm Hires UK Indirect Tax Head
Alvarez & Marsal Taxand in the
UK has hired Richard Baxter as a managing director and head of
indirect tax. Based in
London, he was formerly in charge of the Andersen indirect tax
team in the
UK and was a tax partner at Deloitte.
Mr Baxter’s group will deliver both traditional indirect tax consulting and advice on VAT compliance and reporting.
The firm has also recently set up a reward and compensation
group in the
UK. Sarah Pickering, a former partner at Ernst & Young,
will lead it.
