Int'l tax expert joins Fulbright's estate practice

Heilborn ditches own shingle to join up with law firm Fulbright &
Jaworkski. In a move calculated to attract more
ultra-high-net-worth clients with juicy trans-jurisdictional
planning problems to resolve, law firm Fulbright & Jaworkski has
lured high-profile attorney Stephanie Heilborn away from her own
firm to a partnership in its trust and estate practice.
Heilborn joins Fulbright as a partner -- less than 10 years out
of law school.
Complex strategies
"Stephanie's great passion and skill have attracted some of the
world's wealthiest families and largest financial institutions as
clients," says Phil Michaels, head of Fulbright's New York trusts
and estates practice.
Heilborn has had a hand in creating estate plans for private
clients with assets of between $20 million and $4 billion, and
she has administered estates valued at over $500 million. She's
especially adept at complex strategies touching on international
tax and estate-planning matters, according to Fulbright.
After graduating from law school in 2000, Heilborn spent seven
years as an associate in Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, and
about 22 months at her own firm, Heilborn LLC.
New York-based Fulbright's Trusts and Estates Department provides
a range of estate-planning and estate-administration services for
U.S. domestic and international high-net-worth clients. -FWR
