A US insurance brokerage and risk management company has boosted its private client capabilities with its latest acquisition.
Risk Strategies Company has acquired Lester Brokerage, a New Jersey based personal insurance broker for high net worth clients, for an undisclosed sum.
Lester Brokerage, which was founded over 60 years ago, is headed by Michael Elitzer, a national practitioner in the area on group personal excess liability.
“The Risk Strategies Company's private client group is focused on building a nationwide practice unmatched in both technical capability and high-touch, personalized service,” said Bob Courtemanche, senior managing director and national private client practice leader for Risk Strategies Company.
"It's clear Risk Strategies
understands the high-net-worth market's desire for technical
expertise and a working relationship that is personal, local and
rooted in confidentiality,” said Elitzer.
In October 2014, Risk Strategies acquired DeWitt Stern Group,
bringing private client practices into New York City, Chicago,
Los Angeles and Sacramento. In July last year, it acquired
California-based MacCorkle Insurance Services, which has
expertise in private risk, and in October, it established a
private client practice across the geographies of previously
acquired Crow Friedman Group in Tennessee, Georgia and
Alabama.
