The role involves overseeing strategy, operations and performance across offices in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Curaçao.

IQ-EQ, an investor services provider, has appointed Cory Thackeray as its head of Caribbean, a newly-created regional leadership position. 

Thackeray is responsible for overseeing strategy, operations and performance across the group’s Cayman, Curaçao and Bermuda offices. 

Prior to this, Thackeray was chief financial officer for CrossTower, a crypto investment and trading firm operating in New Jersey, Bermuda and India. He has also headed up hedge fund services in North America for State Street Alternative Investment Solutions and was global head of Goldman Sachs Administration Services.  

In his new role, Thackeray will be based in the Cayman office reporting to Mark Fordyce, regional CEO of the Americas. 

Earlier in August IQ-EQ appointed Diana Senanayake as regional CEO for continental Europe and managing director of its Luxembourg headquarters, in order to expand the business.
