Hillview Capital Advisors has hired Aviva Pinto as senior vice president, client services, based in the firm’s New York office.

Pinto was latterly senior vice president and private client advisor at US Trust, where she worked with wealthy families and foundations. Prior to working with US Trust, she worked at both Lazard and Neuberger & Berman.

“There has been an increased appreciation for boutique wealth management firms able to deliver advice to clients that is transparent and free of the conflicts so commonly found in brokerage firms and private banks…Aviva understands and embraces our 'open architecture' model,” said Jonathan Hochberg, president of Hillview.

Hillview, which also has an office in Philadelphia, is an independent investment advisor which has around 70 clients and $1 billion in assets under management.
