Harris Private Bank's multifamily office builds out tax-planning expertise. The team of boutique CPA Pierce Givens and Associates, including 15 professionals, is joining the Chicago office of Harris myCFO, the multifamily-office unit of Harris Private Bank. Fourteen-year-old Pierce Givens provides tax-planning and compliance services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices.

"We consistently strive to expand our expertise and bring
together highly skilled professionals as advocates for our
clients and to help them navigate the issues and complexities
that come with managing wealth," says Harris myCFO's president
Joe Calabrese. "Pierce Givens' capabilities support and enhance
our ability to integrate professional tax planning with all
aspects of a client's financial picture."
The ex-Pierce Givens team members will work with other Harris myCFO tax professionals to help clients, create tax strategies that support estate and philanthropic plans, implement tax-sensitive investment strategies and financial structures, develop tax minimization strategies, comply with tax filing requirements, and resolve other tax and financial issues.
Pierce Givens and Harris myCFO are culturally compatible in that both "are client advocates who strive to provide practical, effective solutions," says Pierce Givens' owner Kristine Givens. Now though, Pierce Givens' professionals "will have access to an expanded set of services such as philanthropy planning, investment advisory and trust and estate administration."
Harris myCFO is a subsidiary of Chicago-based Harris Bank, which is a member of Toronto-based BMO Financial Group. -FWR
