HighTower's Kelly Wealth Management has launched KWM Sports & Entertainment, its second new venture for 2015.

Maryland-based Kelly Wealth Management, part of HighTower, is launching a division to target professional athletes, coaches and entertainers.

KWM Sports & Entertainment, which will offer financial planning, budgeting, cash flow analysis and portfolio management, will be headed up by managing director and partner Richard Rosa.

Rosa takes on the new role after more than 20 years as principal and sports agent at Eastern Athletic Services, where he represented top NFL players and coaches. He will maintain a partnership with EAM to ensure mutual clients receive a continued service.

“Athletes and entertainers face intense pressure and temptation, but many do not receive the education and counsel they need in order to plan for a secure financial future,” said Rosa.

The new venture follows the launch of KWM Cares charitable giving division earlier this year, through which the firm gives philanthropic support to local charities and causes in the Baltimore area.
