HSBC Private Bank Appoints Co-head For London-based Saudi Team

HSBC Private Bank has strengthened its London-based Saudi Team with the appointment of Richard Anooshian as joint co-head.

In his new role Mr Anooshian will work in partnership with Karen Boecker to service the private bank’s Saudi Arabian clients.

Mr Anooshian was previously a consultant to Banque Arner and was instrumental in setting up its Middle East focused private banking operation in Dubai. Prior to Banque Arner, Mr Anooshian worked at JP Morgan, where he was managing director and head of the London platform – Middle East.

“[Mr Anooshian’s] experience in wealth management coupled with his deep knowledge and understanding of the Middle Eastern market, means he understands the needs of our private client base, therefore making him well placed to meet both our clients' existing and future wealth planning requirements," said Sobhi Tabbara, head of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, HSBC Private Bank.
