HSBC's Private Bank Names US Ultra-HNW Leader

The newly-appointed figure comes from Bank of America Private Bank, and has worked at lenders including JP Morgan.
HSBC Global Private Banking has appointed former Bank of America Private Bank senior figure Eric Ingber (pictured) to be in charge of its US ultra-high net worth business.
Ingber, who is based in New York, will work with the rest of the US management team, the UHNW global, regional and family office coverage teams and sales and strategy colleagues, HSBC said in a statement yesterday.
As part of his role, Ingber will report to London-based Caroline Kitidis, global head of UHNW business at the UK/Hong-listed banking group, and to New York-based Racquel Oden, head of wealth, premier and global private banking, US.
With more than 20 years’ wealth management experience, Ingber most recently served as MD and market executive of New York for Bank of America Private Bank. Previously, a wealth advisor at AW Jones, he started his career at JP Morgan Private Bank. He has a master’s in business administration from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
