Westmount Asset Management has opened a new office in Pasadena.

The new branch, located at Lake Avenue, will be led by senior portfolio manager Alvin Yam, the company said in a statement. Services will be geared mostly toward clients in the San Gabriel Valley area.

"From Diamond Bar to San Marino, this area has seen tremendous growth in the number of affluent individuals and families moving into local communities. We look forward to providing for their investment management and planning needs," commented Yam.

Westmount is an investment advisory firm that was founded in 1990 to meet financial objectives of high net worth individuals, pensions plans, foundations, and endowments. It is headquartered in Century City, Los Angeles.
